| Something From the Past - Rogers Londoner

Englend White, puchased used From The Drum Shop ( Jim Salvadore
) in Wilmington. De. late 60's for $300.00.
The original owner had the set for about a month... then... Jim got
a 7pc walnut stained Rogers kit in the shop with two 24"
bass drums and he (the original owner) had to have the walnut
kit so he traded the white kit in on the walnut kit.
When the white kit originally came into the shop Jim had them
on the floor for over $400.00, I bugged my mom to get em' for
me but she wasn't goin for it, then they got sold and I figured
that's that.

A few weeks later I went rollin into the shop
and Jim told me the white Rogers were back and I could have the
set for $300.00. My mom knowing a good deal snagged em' for me
and I've had em' ever since, this kit has hundreds of gig's,
rehersals, recording sessions under its belt and always sounded
just fine. When not in
use the set was stored in fibre cases. I decided to make this vintage set available for your next session!
